Thrive: Marriage Retreat

This collaboration with Southeastern Children’s Home is providing foster, adoptive, and kinship couples with a time of refreshment to strengthen their marriage and family. Join the volunteer team with Adoption Helpers providing childcare, to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for the kids in these families, helping the whole family THRIVE.

The Huddle: Family Support Group

November 13th | 5:30pm-8:30pm

This monthly support group provides support to foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers in and around Greenville county. Our volunteer team engages the kids with fun activities in the gym, time with the toddlers, and space for these children to be around other kids walking a similar journey to them. Join us for our next meeting in November!

Sky Zone: Community Respite Event

Our biggest, most popular event of the year is returning this December at SKY ZONE!

Join this year's volunteer team to give these foster, adoptive, and kinship families a fun start to the Christmas season: giving parents a break and kids a blast! The whole park is rented out for this event. Sign up to volunteer and provide these kids a night they’ll remember 🧡

In-Home Respite Roundtable

October 3rd | 9:30am-11:30am

This Volunteer event is for all volunteers connected to In-Home Respite Care. This Roundtable will be a time to thank you for your involvement in this service, share updates, success stories, and stats on the program, refresh on our protocol and TBRI Principles, and provide space for feedback and discussion around how we can improve your volunteer experience with this program. Whether you've already served previously or hope to in the future, this event is for you!

Ready to take another step and learn more about Adoption Helper services? Join for this virtual trianing that covers our programs, volunteer opportunities, and introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), a trauma-informed approach to caregiving. Open to any interested volunteer, and required before serving with our In-Home Respite Program.
